Ok I am on here so now how do I get the work? I noticed under one of the blogs that the last work posted was back in November. There must be more work right? I am excited and I want to get started. Advise me please.AN (Raleigh, NC) over 14 years ago
I too have the same problem with not getting any bookings from this website. I see a lot of jobs come through (the last 2 on the board for example) that I am within the right age group, live within the vicinity and I have experience and under my "history" tab it shows I'm not even being submitted? The last time I was submitted for anything was January?? I do feel like the people here at Talent Soup are genuinely trying to provide a good website where both talent and clients can profit , but if I'm not going to be even be submitted for projects when I clearly meet the requirements , it really doesn't make much sense for me to stay on . If you can shed some light on this I would greatly appreciate it.Eric (Staff) over 14 years ago

Is there any work in the Atlanta, GA area for a nine yr old male?SP (Atlanta, GA) over 14 years ago
Thanks Rad. I'm located in Atlanta also and I was wondering, what are the busiest markets?RW (Marietta, GA) over 14 years ago
I live in Atlanta, also and I have been in the soup for over 3 years and only been considered once for a job per the history tab. Is there no market for children? I am 10 now.DS (Wilmington, NC) over 14 years ago
I added a photo, full body shot as a doctor and my head is cut off when it was added to the system. The photo wasn't like that when I added it.CW (Sarasota, FL) over 14 years ago

So, if I'm understanding this correctly... a job you're "considered" for is based on the primary algorithmic submission and not someone necessarily looking at your profile?WB (Seattle, WA) over 14 years ago
I think this is a nice site for those of us who are looking for modeling or acting gigs, ect....but I myself have had the same results as most of those on here, I have only had been selected for a couple of lifestyle casting calls in 2009 and never heard anything again...I do have several photos posted. I myself would also like to see a bit more progress come from being on this website. Can you tell me why most of us are having the same exact luck??AN (Raleigh, NC) over 14 years ago
Regarding the job for the "olive " skinned men and women between the ages of 35-55..can you tell me if I was submitted for that? I believe the " History" tab was for jobs that you have submitted us for rather than "if the client reviewed us" that way the talent could keep track of the different jobs they are being submitted for.AS (Dunwoody, GA) over 14 years ago
Hi, I'm Adrianne Pless...could use a bone thrown my way...(translation) work. I'm a beautiful older Black and diverse woman...I would be perfect for More Magazine or even one of those Viagra ads! Pick me, Pick me.SS (Lawrenceville, GA) over 14 years ago

With this new Tier system, is someone that is actually paying Talent Soup going to get picked first over me no matter what? Do I still have the same chances as they do to get picked? I hope that if I fit the demographic and have a better look, that I don't get overlooked just because someone is paying (because you still get 20% of what I would make).AP (STOCKBRIDGE, GA) about 14 years ago
All of the major pay-to-play websites started out with free profiles then something like "branding" happens. It is already extremely difficult to get work on a website like talentsoup because the competition is so fierce. With this new tiering system ofcourse clients are going to usually select people from the top-tiers. Eventually the free profiles become useless. Why not base the distinction on talent and experience instead of money? You are already taking an 80-20 cut, a management firm's fee, for a database. If you have to charge something for setup then why not a reasonable annual fee like 800 casting? $20 a month is another bill. It is excessive. Especially when you consider the fact that by your own admission there is not enough work for all of the talent on this site. Painfully obvious from the comments on this forum. Most people who pay for this service will be wasting their money because they won't get any work from it.VL (Conyers, GA) about 14 years ago
umm, I have been on this website for about a week now. I am really hoping to get some work but I still haven't gotten anything. I am willing to do work out of the area, is there any possible way TalentSoup could give me places that aren't local? And is there anything I can do to make them get me work faster?TM (Marietta, GA) about 14 years ago
