Short Bio
Roosevelt Boles, Jr. born in Mount Vernon, New York, raised in Hampton, South Carolina has over time created what many are beginning to recognize as his musical genius. His love for the Lord and music propelled him down various avenues to help understand his purpose for his ministry. Intrigued at a young age by strong musical influences, his senior release has been a long time coming and remains special for Roosevelt Boles. Roosevelt has been fortunate to have projects released with Starrtraxx Production in Atlanta, Ga. Allowing him to release such singles “Show Me” which gained him Rhythm of Gospel winner “Male Artist of The Year” and R. Kelly “World’s Greatest” giving him Urban AC Radio traction as well. Roosevelt has been blessed to share in song with Latocha Scott from the female pop group XSCAPE on Boles’ Sophomore CD entitiled “Mirror, Mirror”. This project got incredible support of Dr. Bobby Jones and Atlanta’s own “Coco Brutha” of 93.5Fm/102.5 radio personality. Roosevelt also appeared in Tyler Perry’s Motion Picture Witness Protection.
Roosevelt was also nominated by Silver Dollar Production to opposite Rueben Studdard and Johnny Gill. Toronto Gospel Magazine featured Roosevelt more than six months for his incredible contributions and incredible music gifts.
Roosevelt has share the stage with gospel legends such as: Dr. Bobby Jones, Vanessa Bell Armstrong, Kim Burrell, Tye Tribett, Dorinda Clark-Cole, J. Moss, Beverly Crawford, Albertina Walker, Ricky Dillard, Byron Cage, Dottie Peoples, Leonard Scott, Shirley Murdock, Melvin Williams and a host of matriarchs.
Roosevelt currently has been representing the USA for Global Competition as a Finalist(top 4) for the Voice Of McDonald’s(Over 1.6 billions submissions) where he holds the first to ever represent ATLANTA, Georgia. With incredible reviews by Wayne Brady and the entire 45,000 fans that gave Boles the only STANDING OVATION at the event. Roosevelt had the honors of being selected to sing the National Anthem for The ALTANTA FALCONS final home game where he received OUTSTANDING REVIEWS and AUDEIENCE APPLAUSE. Roosevelt was selected for international commercial with McDonald’s singing during a customer’s visit with video going viral in less than 24 hours.
